Condemn dastardly killing of BJP leader: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah condemned the killing of BJP leader in south Kashmirs Anantnag district.
Omar while taking to his Twitter handle said, “Ghulam Mohd Mir, office bearer of the BJP in South Kashmir has been shot & killed in Nowgam, Verinag. I condemn this dastardly act of violence & pray for the soul of the departed, Allah Jannat naseeb karey".
A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Vice District President of Anantnag district was shot dead by suspected militants at Verinag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
Reports said that the gunmen believed to be militants fired upon the man identified as Gul
Mohammad Mir (60) alias Attal son of Abdul Karim Mir at Nowgam area of Verinag at around 10:00 pm.
He was brought dead to the hospital as per doctors.
