Strongly condemn BJP leader’s killing: Mehbooba Mufti
Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti
Srinagar: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday condemned the killing of BJP leader in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Ms. Mufti while taking to her Twitter handle said, “I strongly condemn the killing of @BJP4India leader Gul Muhammad Mir in Verinag, South Kashmir. My condolences to the bereaved family and prayers for the departed soul.”
Gul Mohammad Mir (60) alias Attal son of Abdul Karim Mir was Vice President of BJP in Anantnag. Unknown gunmen believed to be militants fired upon him at Nowgam area of Verinag at around 10:00 pm. He was brought dead to the hospital as per doctors.
