Shutdown on Friday against bloodshed in Kashmir, no let up in killings in Kashmir: JRL

Srinagar, May 16  : Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a statewide shutdown on Friday against the 'bloodshed in Kashmir'.

In a statement JRL said that 'there is no letup in killings and bloodshed in Kashmir  even in the holy month of Ramzaan as civilians ,armed youth or even Indian forces are getting killed.'

"In one manner or other Kashmiri’s continue to pay the price of the unresolved Kashmir issue as use of force against them continues unabated," JRL said in a statement.

The pro freedom leaderhip said that weather it is death of civilian Rayees Ahmed Dar of Pulwama, Arshad Ahmed Dar of Chanabal Pattan or Nayeem Shah of Baderwah allegedly killed by a VDC 'Kashmiri’s continue to fall prey to the lingering issue and subsequent use of unbridled force.'

"To protest these unfortunate killings People will observe peaceful hartal tomorrow, Friday the 17th of May," they said.

They have urged Imams and khateebs in Friday sermons will also raise their voice against this bloodshed.
