On Tuesday, Jamaat-e-Islami said that the assassination of the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) was part of "well conspiracy" to suppress real Kashmiri voices.
"Another Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader, killing of Hafiz-ullah Mir of Akingham, in the light of a broad daylight in his house, unknown gunmen clearly showed Islamabad that this series of mysterious murders was a well-designed scheme Part of this is to suppress the true voice of the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir, "said a spokesman of the Jamaat in a statement.
Condemning the murder, the Jamaat demanded a fair investigation of all these "inhuman acts" to unveil the real culprits behind the crime by some international judicial commission.
The statement said, "The Jamaat increased his total solidarity with the grieving family and gave good wishes to the early recovery of the leader of the killed leader who was injured in the attack."
Jamaat also condemned the firing by government forces on demonstrators in Shopian's Nadigam village.
