Manan Wani’s killing: Protest rock at Zakoora campus of Kashmir university
Srinagar: 11 October, (KN18) Scores of Students held a strong protest against the killing of scholar turned militant commander along with his associate in north Kashmir’s Handawara area.
According to the witnesses, the students also held in-absentia prayers for the slain militants, adding, the students raised pro-freedom and pro- Manan wani slogans.
Wani, a resident of Tikipora Sogam, and his associate Ashiq Hussain Zargar of Tulwari Langate were killed in a gunfight in Shatgund earlier today.(KN18)
