Civil election: Jammu and Kashmir government orders official leave on October 8 in polling areas

Srinagar, Oct 6: The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to order an official holiday on October 8 in the areas for municipal elections. Although the official order for effectiveness will be issued later in the day, however, government sources confirmed development. The Joint Resistance Leadership of Jammu and Kashmir has already called for closure of the same day against the elections.
